Dear Melissa , I went over this myself and my wife, we tried sittign on both, My wife liked teh clearance height on the CRF 150- I was leanng to teh electric start- WE been using electic starters on cars since 1907 and boats/jet skis etc all use them . I than bought the CRF 230 as my wife wanted teh electric start since shes short legged but teh CRF 230 is taller, the yamaha felt to heavy and funny to her so I bought the CRF 230 and also added a lowerign link see www.koubalink.com Shes now loves to ride more and that makes me happy as well, my son now wishes he had electric start. HE goign fast- and needs to learn how to start a bike as he is 13 yrs old- In closing decide on a bike your comfortable with safely and teh controls are easy to use.
