So quick hx. I´m a diehard 2 stoke guy who a %!¤ for a sobe story So a good friend of mine calls me and say his neighbor has a bike iissue. He and another guy bought a 1986 1300 Venture from some ddead guy ??? (Natural causes ...?) The bike is MINT with 12,000 Km, but had been sitting for years. These two Fisher Price Tech´s can´t get it to run despite all their efforts. They charged the bbattery, that is all ! Unfortunatelty here´s where the story goes bad,. They decide it must be a carb issue and decided that they should tear the bike down and clean it while they were doing the carbs,. TO THE RFRAME ! Now I would have beenokay to get it then but the carbs camed out and the were set into a carb dunk tank for 24 hrs with the rubber vac diaphrams still in. What a cluster... Oh did i tell ya, these are guys in their 50´s Bla bla bla, it goes on and on. It has been a long road back to now. I put the bike back together, carbs overhauled and in , new Throttle cables, purged the tank and feul system. Fired right up and started to purrrrr. However when the throttle is applied i get Popping constantly and randomly in allfour carbs. A quick test drive around the block was only possible with the choke on full, otherwise it just bogged out. I did Synk. the carbs /c Mecury momometer, all Vac lines are hook up (i think) the only execption being a two foot Vac line With a brass fitting in one end. I have no idea ? it was in the box of parts. Can someone help me out with info or advice or just come over and kill me ! Almost at the point of buying a Honda Tshirt...
