Removing Cylinder
Nicky said 2011-01-07 10:31
I am trying to replace the gaskets on my ´81 Honda CM400T. I was able to remove the cylinder head and I´m trying to remove the cylinder itself. The problem is, the thing won´t budge. I followed the specs in the maintenance and repair manual but the darn thing won´t budge. I´ve tried everything I could think of (heating and cooling it, WD40, prying, using a crowbar with body weight, and so on) and it won´t move at all. There is a lot of oil residue from oil leakage which is why I´m trying to replace the gaskets. Any suggestions as to how to get this thing off?? Thanks for your help!
