Hi there I wish i had an answer for you but i am trying to fix my brother in laws bandit 1200s 2004 it has the same problem that you have just explained,just wondering if anyone has answered your query.I am about to drain the fuel out as he has been running it on 91 octane ,change spark plugs to see if it makes any difference.I have already adjusted the tappets but did not realy make any difference.If you would like to contact me feel free by above email.Cheers
