I am the new rider of a 2004 V rod and need to know how to winterize my gas tank before winter gets here. I live in middle tennessee and the winters can go either way. The salesperson who sold it to me said the few months I would have it down wouldn\´t affect the bike, but other places say it only takes a few weeks for fuel to go bad nowadays. He said I could use STABIL but the ratio had to be exactly perfect then I\´d have to drain the bike before I ride next year. Which way should I lean?
