Hi Nicholas, I bought a DT100 years ago, got it real cheap for same reason- wouldn\´t rev. As it turned out the exhaust port was almost completely blocked with fairly solid carbon as was the exhaust. If your replacement pipe is a used one, maybe it was from a bike that was running way too oily, or it was only ever idled around as was mine. I built a big fire and threw exhaust on it and baked the carbon out,(had to tap it with a hammer and shake it around to get loose bits out). P.S. Here where I am we have an insect we call a Mason Bee which stores its food,(other insects) in earthen \
