I have a 2005 KLR 650. The bike stood for some time and after starting it it started to surge at around 4500rpm. I took it in for fuel system flush and to get the carb cleaned. Situation continued. Technical inspection was done on the bike (mechanical and electrical) anything not tested/changed is the CDI. Is the someone out ther that experienced something similar or that could confirm that the CDI is faulty.
