i just purchased a used 2009 electra glide classic. Everything is stock-as is. Loud pipes save live!!! I want to change my pipes and i was looking at slip on for added loudness. Every dealership I go into tells me something different though. If I want a better sound/performance bike do I need to change the air filter and a stage 1 plus slip ons for well over a gee? Would replacing my stock mufflers with rush, rinehart, se slip ons do the trick? Id prefer to spend about 500 instead of the 1500 i have been quoted. As well what are the most popular/best value slip ons to get?
