Yes, actually i bought mine brand new with 1 mile on it in 2000. I have had to replace the battery every year since. Had it in 3 shops, completely torn apart and noone can find anything wrong. i trickle charge it in winter and/or completely remove battery. no matter what I do it dies even after riding a few times. Otherwise I absolutely adore my bike. I am a woman rider and that was my first experience. Bike rides nice when it runs.
