95 Honda VT 1100 C Shadow discussion forum: power loss

HELP! My 1995 VT1100C was running excellent except it needed to go in the shop for a water pump replacement. It has approx 48k miles so we figured that since the motor needed to be removed, we would also do a suspension upgrade. We everything was put back together, the bike would start up and run at slow speeds just as great as before...but at a constant throttle (say around 65MPH) the engine developed a loss of power. Do you have any idea? what the nculprit could be? .The bike never ran like this before. Thats why i upgraded the suspension.
