The 1990 Ducati 851 is still a formidable sport bike by 2003 standards, but be warned. They are prone to several problems. Most notable are warped brake rotors, faulty voltage regulators ($300 fix from Ducati), fuel pump burnout ($450 from Ducati), and frequent valve adjustments. This bike is best suited to a collector who doesn´t plan to ride it much.
