hi,i had a 1300 venture 2004 and had the same starting problems soon after i bought the bike.It started on the key and not the button also the audio system went and the intercom as well.After 5 weeks in the garage they discoverd that a Clarion rely behind the fairing had burnt out thus causing all the problems.It was to cost £1400 quid to fix it so i had my money refunded and bought another one.(so far ok,fingers crossed)althouh it\´s a bit noisy when i shut the throttle to slow down or go down a hill but apart from that it\´s great.Any help to you.?Mike.
