i wish to find out the load carrying capacity of the triumph america efi model 2009.the information i have seen is that the carrying load is 400 lbs which includes driver, passenger,gear eg boots helmat etc luggage tools etc.the 400 lbs does not include petrol or oil so if the bikes tank is s full meaning 19 ltrs or about 20 kilos you do not count this as part of the load. i have eard some people say the petrol is included as part of the load but the mechanics at triumph say they think the petrol is not included and should be discounted and when they look for loadcarrying capacity they never include petrol or oil and advise riders to do the same.what is the truth.
