hello i have a cm400e that had the same issues i took the carbs off and soaked them in a carb solution after they were completely stripped of all rubber parts of course bought new carb kits reassembled carbs ran like a champ no more overflow usualy any time they run out overflow needle and seat stuck. CLEAN CARBS ARE KEY make sure your floats are set right and all passages are clean
