´08 Burgman 650
ET said 2010-03-09 02:57
I have an ´08 Burgman 650 with 16.5K miles. The spark plugs were changed at about 14K. Just recently, it has developed the following: After is has run for about 10 to 15 mins in traffic (stop and go), it will idle down to 1100rpms (normal) and begin to drop to 1000rpms as though it wants to cut out and stop running. When I throttle up (after the light changes), it sputters a bit before it gets up and running. There seems to be no problem while running. I am wondering if one of the spark plugs is losing fire after it gets hot ??. Possibly a spark plug coil or spark plug wire??. Has anyone had this problem?? I have also treated the fuel with Sea Foam, but with the same results. Any suggestions appreciated. ET
