Bought one (\\\´93 model)a few months ago with a broken motor, found a second hand one and it\\\´s now running. Took quite a big jump from riding a 400 Bandit to this 1100 gixxer. Man, this thing is wild. Just had to feed the taps the other day, I got scared at 255km/h and backed off, with quite a bit more to go. I just love this bike. To the question: I\\\´m no expert, but Apparantly, the gearboxes tend to jump out of 2nd from 40k onwards, obviously depending on how it got to that mileage. This problem was present on my old motor (@ 90k), and the motor packed up because it has less than a cup of oil in the engine. Everywhere I searched for a motor, people kept telling me that it will be difficult finding one, because they are \\
