RE: speed limiter! TAZ

Thanks for the quick response guys to my questions?, but since I´m electronically challenged , I´ve got a few more basic questions. After removing the pink wire from the triangle plug, and connecting it to the resistor, and connecting the other side of the resistor to earth, (am I OK so far ), the remaining pink wire that runs off to God knows where has no further use ? And since it no longer has any input doesn´t affect the remaining electronic processes? Also please treat me as well chastised for suggesting that I would ever consider travelling in/on any vehicle at any speed beyond the legal limit! I was only interested on a purely hypothetical level since a friend of a friend inquired of me that "if" he had a GS how would he go about such a thing "if" he were to consider racing his on the track,( your Honour!). Finally I hope the e-mail address is real cause I´ll give you a bell, cheers ! TAZ
