2009 Suzuki S50 Electrical problems and Brake Squeal

My wife and I bought new Boulevards in July 2009. I got the C50T and she got the S50. Her front brake has squealed since day one, now has 900+ miles, been in the shop two times now for this and they will now replace the brake pads. Two times in two consecutive nights her electrical system has diminished to zero, causing a very reputable and highly respected dealer to come to our rescue. Riding along after 4-5 miles and the lights flicker, fade and the bike dies. Fortunately for her I am in front and watching so that she can safely get off the road. It\´s back in the shop again so we\´ll see what they come up with. I have read of this electrical issue on models from \´05 to \´09 in various forums and wonder why Suzuki hasn\´t made any improvements...
