What bike should I giveto my love? Help!

Hi, my guy (40 years old ;-) ) just passed his motorexam and is eager to buy a classic bike. He is fond of a Honda VTX. As a fashonata I wonder whether that is the \´right\´ brand...Okay, I learned that for a Harley he needs time to keep it running and as he is short of time as he is also a sailor, so a Harley is out of the question. But aren\´t there any other \´hot\´ brands than a Honda? As I want to buy the bike for him, I need some background information of you, experienced bikers? Could you help me out? I would love to give him a collectors bike, a special edition or something like that what the bike would make original. Would be great if you can help me! Many thanks from the Netherlands! Cynthia
