Okay, so I\\\īm not exactly sure how anyone could help, but maybe someone can give me input here. I\\\īm trying to sell a dirtbike and I\\\īve gotten various e-mails from two different individuals: Philip Crouch philipcrouch@rocketmail.com & Scott Smith scott_smith009@yahoo.com. The 2nd one won\\\īt tell me ANYTHING about himself (where he\\\īs from, number, ext) yet told me weeks ago he sent a cheque out & that once it arrives I am to IMMEDIATELY take out the remaining money and send it to his shipping company and cash the check. He hasn\\\īt responded to me in days now. The 1st name seems a little more convincing but I\\\īm still unsure; he tells me he has a business partner, that they sent a cheque out, and I should be recieving it and blah balh blah. Long story short, I\\\īm scared %&#!Īless here. This is a very good bike ($3,300) and I keep reading about how people can scam you through PayPal, through Cheques, through everything. I don\\\īt want to be fined or get in trouble. Also, as both of these people claimed they wanted the bike at different times, they now both have my address and phone number. I\\\īm unsure what to do at this point. Any suggestions?
