RE: FireBlade vs ZX9R (year 2000 models)

I´ve owned a 90 ZX-6, 92 CBR 900RR, 90 VFR 750, 98 CBR 900RR, 01 GSXR 1000. And ridden a 2000 ZX-9R a few times, as well as R1´s, ZX-7R´s, ect... Been on the track a few times, mostly sunday rides, and around town. Depending on your size and how agressive you are will determine your choice. Larger riders that are less agressive may lean towards the Kawi, which is plusher and heavier then the same year Honda. I honestly believe the Honda is the better bike quality wise and for flickability, or more agressive riding styles, the Kawi simply weighs too much which is why it has all but dissapeared in the racing scene (I know you didn´t say you wanted to race but weight is weight- Less is better). Good luck on your decision
