Hi! Just performed an oil change, and mercy! what treasures I found in the base pan. Lots of gasket material, metal, and what looks like a retaining clip from who knows where. Any ideas? Also, I\´m a bit confused on the proper way to check the oil level. The mechanic said to put in 2,800 cc\´s of fresh oil, but it seems a bit much. Is it best to check the oil level with the bike running or not? Please advise. Otherwise, I really enjoy this bike. (1990 350cc Tuareg). And, oh, where can I find an exploded diagram of this engine? Thanks. Happy Trails!
