I have a GL500 (I think, I have been told it\´s a CX500, but it says GL on the bike), and lately it has been not picking up RPM about midrange into a gear, irregardless of what gear it is. It will accelerate OK as usual, and then midway through a gear just hold steady, even if I give it full throttle. Makes it hard to ride on the highway, as it is significantly slower in 5th now. When it warms up 20 minutes or so into the ride, it\´s wake up and accelerate all the way. This has been getting worse, it started when the wet weather came. I don\´t know what RPM it holds at, because my tach is broken. I have some pretty big gasket leaks, but it hasn\´t been causing this kind of behavior before, just maybe a bit of power loss throughout the gear. Can someone recommend a solution? I gave it a tuneup, new spark plugs, but it didn\´t help. I ride this thing to work everyday, so I would appreciate some advice. Thanks.
