RE: OLD MAN MOTORCYCLE

Hey Everyone ,
I too own and love the Thruxton. I have an original 67´ Bonneville, but finally did some engine damage and decided that I shouldn´t abuse such a classic motorcycle anymore and decided to garage it for a while. Now I ride a 2007 Thruxton and couldn´t be happier. Awesome to hear from other owners puting big distance miles in their Thruxtons!! I recently put on 1,800 miles in 3.5 days- 650 of them on day 1. The Thruxton purred the whole way including pouring rain for 400 long miles on day 3. I rode handle bar to handle bar the whole way, along with a hopped up Harley Road King, and we passed every car that got in front of us from San Francisco all the way up to Victoria, Canada and back. Too much fun to be had on the Thruxton...
