I´ve been riding a -89 model GT550 for a year now and absolutely loving it. An excellent bike, however maybe a bit boring. Really reliable (mine´s got 78000 miles on the clock!). Engine still in pretty good shape, but electrics tend to go.
If you´re not in a hurry to get to places, I can highly recommend the GT.
