ARGH!!! Dam SAILS!!! LOL. I hate fairings..nothin but problems. My last one had a clear one on.. haha FIRST thing I ripped off the bike when it got home! Yeah..If someone´s been messin with the wires, chances are theres a bigtime short. I´ve seen that a MILLION times. The batter could be old/ruined from being left out in the winter too. Get a cheap volt meter with volts AND ohms. If ya can´t afford one,2 wires on a spare blinker bulb will work for an easy test light. If ya DO have one, undo the battery, and check all the wires with key off, on OHMS setting, then key on. I know its a pain, but you´ll know for sure whats doing what.. k? hope that helps. If any other probs..e-mail me..I´ll go through the manual wiring diagrams for ya. (just include the year of your CX..k?) good luck!
