I´m in the market for an older on/off road bike, something that I can tinker with and stay under the financial radar of others in the household. Found a bike on Craigs List, sounds like a basket case, engine needs major work, $100. I havn´t seen it yet, but I am assuming that it is in REALLY rough shape. If the frame isn´t bent and I can get parts, I would be interested. How is the part availability for a 1984 KLR600? How about the motor, is it a motor that can be found relatively easy? I´m not in a big rush...Maine winters are long |
