Hi. In 1979 i bought a 80/7 (UBN 124T) from SHUTTS MOTORCYCLES at RAWTENSTALL and owned it for 5year moving on i now own a 1150gs but would like to own another 80/7 but finding one is proving very hard. In my opinion the current bmw\´s do not have the character of the /7 i can remember being able to do any thing to that bike,these days its bmw dealers and have it plugged in. This as you know is alright if all you want to do is ride a bike, but i get enjoyment tinkering about with bikes. I S Taylor (hopefully a 80/7 owner soon)
