i traded up from a 1988 softtail springer to a 07 fltr road glide .the 96 in engine and 6 speed tranny is awesome.fuel injection,cruise control,and a stereo really make riding fun.i went 4200 miles in 13 days,from olympia wa to san diego.then to phoenix ,santa fe even taos .i was at hi elevation and the bike ran flawlessly.i went to sturgis and the radio made it so u can hear about the attractions and the weather and the traffic.the bike is qwick and fast with lots of torque.2 yrs unlimited miles is a gr8 warranty.i havent been able to grind it going around corners.the fairing offers gr8 protection and i like the 2 headlights as i dont need them passing lites.also the steering is very light compared to a handlebar mounted fairing.
