Could be electrical. But these bikes are just hard starting. I have an 85 and i\´m gonna try bigger main jets to see if that helps(when they arrive). If the weeks gone by and its getting colder out, the bike is just harder to start. My neutral light never comes on! Is there anything in your manual about fine tuning the ignition timing?
