I like my 1985 yamaha xv 500 se. It´s not bad in medium distances. Engine sweet and amusing when necessary, especially considering a 2 valves two cilinders engine of such cc. I enjoy myself in driving along mountain roads, sometimes giving gas with low gears and feeling the hardness of efforts and vibrations of the v tiwns. Lovely and soft transmission, it allows relaxing and smashing tours alone or with other bikes. Not bad at all for a 80s japanese custom bike. Biggest problem: electronic! I´d love to conserve it as it is, with every original part, but I fear that the market won´t allow us to protect the collection the way mother yamaha conceived it. Now I´m looking for the 750 and 1000 midnight special models. Let´s get in contact for models and spare parts.
