The carbs are easy to balance but you need to do things first to make it run better before you start. make sure the engine is in good condition first ie contacts gap correct and timing. The next thing is check the timing chain adjusted is working by turning the knob and you should feel the chain going past as it readjusts. Then the valve clearences should be checked and adjusted with correct shims. Finally remove the tank, and carb tops, then the adjusting screws will be exposed. Remove the four screws on the manifold one per cylinder and attach either vac gauges or a 4 cylinder manometer. Start engine and get hot and adjust screws on carb tops till the readings from all carb inlets are same. If you cant get a balance then remove carbs and check all jets and float heights when carbs are upside down. Any probs e mail me.
