I just bought an 81 650 for a project. the original front end was damaged.The guy I bought the bike from had already purchased a used front end off ebay, that one has a slight bend in the forks aswell. the guy thinks the forks are supposed to have that slight bend. Can anyone please let me know if that is in fact true, or do I need to get a new front end. FYI, I bought the bike for $100 and the only thing wrong with it is the front end issue and bent handle bars (which he gave me his ebay find on the handle bars too). He said he has kept it running, so we will see.
