I HAVE MY 1984 GL1200 TORN DOWN, AND HAVE 3/4 OF AN INCH UP AND DOWN STRETCH IN THE PRIMARY CHAIN , WHILE IT IS STILL HOOKED UP , BUT WITH THE UPPER TENSIONER SLIPPER REMOVED - LOWER CHAIN GUIDE STILL IN PLACE. IS THIS OK AT 70 KLMS, OR SHOULD I REPLACE IT . THE BIKE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN RIDDEN HARD BY LOOKING AT THE CLUTCH DISCS. WHAT TO DO? LARRY----
