hi,i own a 1993 xtz660 tenere,having lots problems with bike at moment,but gradually sorting it out bit by bit, i hope some one out there can give me some technical information regarding the rectifier as mine went down.
My bike has a 4 pin plug for the rectifier 3 white wires that are linked to the alternator 1 red wire that links to the main switch 1 black wire that i assume is the earth
the rectifier i want to fit as been told is a better soluation is a rr28 rectifier with finns,how ever this is what i need help with.
3 yellow wires that link to alternator 1 red wire that links to the main switch 1 black wire that i assume is the earth 1 BROWN WIRE?does any one know what the function of the spare brown wire is,doe i connect it to some where,or do i leave it as a spare. your help would be much apreciaed. kind regards Gary.
