Dave, one of the things I have been told about the 55o engine is that what appears to be a leaking head gasket may not be so. There are o rings in there that can deteriorate and cause it to weep. Just looks bad but wont hurt it. PS I have 1 complete 77 CB550K for sale w/NY title. Not currently road worthy but runs. $200 takes it. Russ
