Just a little follow up. The speedometer reads about 20% too high but the odometer is within 3% (checked with my GPS) so 56 Miles/Gallon is right. In the mean time I have driven a lot more miles mainly near full throttle on the highway and the engine seems to hold up ok.
I reported a month ago that I had a broken throttle position sensor and broken brackets on the muffler for the heatshield. Well guess what, I STILL DONT HAVE THEM. my dealer says he ordered them but it takes forever.
BTW the broken throttle position sensor manifested itself by hesitating when driving a constant speed at a certain throttle position. crancing it open or closed a bit ( a few mm) would make it run ok.
