Hi Ed,i own a 650 Yamaha Special,1980,the maint.is very low if you do a few things,air filters need to be kept clean,change oil as needed.keep grease on chain,just do the regular maint.and this bike will run forever.The motor on these are one tough engine.Mine is for sale . Tom
