Hi folks,just came across you guys while looking for some info At present Iride a zx6r but I\´ve recently bought my nephew a wicked little chinese thumpster so obviously I partaken in a bit of thumpstering whilst pretending that I did actually buy the bike for him not me. Needless to say I\´ve got the bug for a dirt bike of my own.(must be road registable) Ive been offered an 86 XT 250 tatty but good, needs cosmetics and a tune to get back on road plus back tyre It would cost about $1000 for a complete rebuild and make it mint. I reckon I can get it for about $500Aud is it worth it to get a good old thumper in rebuilt condition? Also anything to look for on this model that i should know about Any help, advice or just banter appreciated Cheers Jon
