Buying a mean streak with 20,000 miles? |

Can anyone give me some input as to whether this is a good idea or not? I am thinking about purchasing a 2002 Mean Streak with 20,000 miles on it. It has been laid down on it´s right side and will need work/replacement on the exhaust, tank, foot pegs, and headlight. I should be able to get it for around $3,500 to $4,000. What are you guys´ thoughts on 1)that many miles on it and 2)the damage that has been done to it. What is the longevity of one of these bikes? I guess I´m looking for an inexpensive way to get into a meanstreak. Thanks. |
