Hi - after a few years of Dragstar riding (which has been good) I got the opportunity of buying a 1981 Roadster 1000cc XLS. It was, I think, pretty good value at £1500 but it hasn´t been used for 2.5 years - the previous owner had it for 6 years and did 12 miles on it - wierd! The battery´s totally buggered and I guess all the lubricants will be like glue. Can any kind soul suggest the best way of approaching gettind it going. Do I need to completely rebuild the engine or just flush, new plugs and battery and see what happens. Anyone with a user manual, workshop manual or any other sort of manual will become my mate forever if I can have a copy. Thanks all for reading this - Dave Howells (Boris II)
