Help!
Daytona91 said 2006-07-31 19:04
I´ve recently had my Daytona carbs rebalanced but they had to be redone as it was cutting out at low speeds. Once rectified it almost immediately suffered some form of fuel blockage. The tank was flushed and carbs balanced again. After a trouble free 500 miles, in a short space of time, the bike is suddenly behaving as if carbs or jets partially blocked again and there is a strong smell of fuel. The bike responds to heavy use of the throttle but at low speeds runs extremely lumpy - sounds like a bag of old spanners! Any ideas as to why I keep getting these problems? Could it be corrosion in the tank?
