Hey Mikey, I had the same question so I went to a good freind(and a great local road racer) who just bought a 750,and usually he would buy the 1000\´s, almost every year. He said the 1000 was more power than 1 person could use, and the 750 is a hallmark bike for suzuki, he had just taken a 06 R-6 back for the tach re-buy, so I deduced that if the gsxr 750 was better than the R-6 it must be great, Im not at all disappointed and I havent been over 6000 rpm. I will add, if you go to daytona(race track)you may need the 1000 but if your in the smokies on a sunday morning at deals gap the 750 will smoke the 1000.good luck.
