The bit about the transmission whine is Bull...t. Yes it makes a bit of a gear whine but it\´s not even noticable. I\´ve got over 13,000 miles on my \´05 and it hasn\´t cost me one red cent. Put a tire on it at 10,000 miles. Would own another one without hesitation....great machine.
