Hey all, I owned one of the first 1985 GSXR 750\´s in my town, first one\´s to hit the street. Then Ive owned about 15 sportbikes since, the only one I regreated selling was the 01? R-6, I fell in love with that bike, about 2 weeks ago I picked up my 06 GSXR 750, 21 years after the fact, (and usualy I ride 1000cc bikes), anyway this 750 is the BOMB, I like it better than the R-6, it feels smaller and lighter and has mid range to boot-as far as Im concerned this is THE BIKE, but comparing those luxury liners with these racer type bikes is way off- you need to enjoy riding in a tuck posistion, but dont get me wrong, this is a reasonbly comfortable sportbike, I basically have nothing bad to say about this bike the only thing is with a 15000 RPM redline you have to adjust for 5000 rpm at 70 MPH. I would suggest the GSXR 750 because later you will have one anyway, so get it over with get in the fetal posistion and ride on.
