In my opinion, IF yoru just trail riding,. the air cooled 230 i s much better and with electric start also consider Koubalink.com for a lowerign link if your short legged. . . the CRF 250R is more of a race motor. The 230 has a very low gear first but you can increase by goign a larger gear in front by one tooth I think its a 13 so but a 14 on it if you want more speed.
