The exact same thing happened to me last November...a neighbor put out a 1982 Honda CM 250 Custom in front of his house with a sign "free bike"...naturally I got the bike, brought it home and after doing just a couple of things, it runs and rides like brand new...the only things I had to do is re-build the carbureator (sp)?, buy a new battery and re-upholster the seat...the bike has 12000 miles on it and I wouldn´t trade it for any other bike...everyone who see´s it can´t believe the condition...anyway...good luck with your Honda... |
