Just returned form a 21 day 11,500 mile trip to the north shore of Alaska from Michigan on my 99 GC. A few things the group might like to know. A Russell All Day Seat is great buy and made 800 mile days no problem when needed. One set of Perilli Scorpion ST made the whole trip though the rear was totally bald when I got back. Triumph Tiger hand guards can be made to work quite nicely and elctric grip heaters are a great addition. I lost one rear wheel bearing in British Columbia but NAPA auto parts carried teh bearing in stock, seems its a common size. If you are going on 800 polus miles of muddy gravel roads be sure to carry extra metallic brake pads, I as glad I did. Overall though the bike ran great and was plaesure to ride.
