Dear Bob,
Are you lookign to drag race? Top speed is relative you can only go as fast as you can handle. Try riding a friends bike and then try a larger race bike- This CRF 230 is better suited to trails and single/double tracks. If you want FAST go CRF 450-R or XR 650
