I recently bought a 1984 V65C (Custom) which is a touring set-up with stock fairing and Guzzi hard bags. Is the II the same model?
The C I bought had about 17k miles on it. It´s a little dinged up but it´s all there and runs like a top. Comfortable seating height (I´m 6´2"). Even the locks on the Guzzi bags work fine! The shifting feels a little loose but is solid enough. I´m restoring an older Eldo so I won´t bother having this one tuned, I´m selling it to finance my project.
Overall I think it´s a nifty ride. Only problems are a broken sidestand mount which I am fixing, and it´s a %&#!¤ to get up on the centerstand. There is also a trick involved to unlocking the gas cap which is maddening until you figure it out. (Use the ignition key and press down hard -- at least on my tank.)
Otherwise it´s a big solid bike which handles nicely and has plenty of torque. I prefer a more classic bike but this one gets plenty of compliments from observers, including some Harley bikers.
